SPACE X "Falcon-9 v1.1 / Dragon"

CRS-5 (Cargo Resupply Services Mission 5)

SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 v1.1 CRS-5 on Jan 10, 2015 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SCL-40) of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station becoming the Fifth Cargo Resupply Services Mission.

Dragon SpX-5 carries an external payload inside Dragon's Trunk to the Space Station, the -ISS-CATS (Cloud Aerosol Transport System). This payload will be placed on KIBO's Exposed Facility.

For this mission, SpaceX has installed Grid Fins and landing legs on the Falcon rocket. It will attempt to land on a barge called the Autonomous Spaceport Droid Ship.

The AXM version for the Falcon-9 v1.1 / Dragon papermodel and the ISS-CATS payload was made possible from NASA's photo gallery website.

Enjoy the photos and the model!
