SPACE X "Falcon-9 v1.1 / Dragon"

CRS-4 (Cargo Resupply Services Mission 4)

SpaceX successfully launched its new Falcon 9 v1.1 on Sep 21, 2014 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SCL-40) of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station becoming the Fourth Cargo Resupply Services Mission.

Dragon SpX-4 carried an external payload inside the Dragon's Trunk to the Space Station ISS-RapidScat. This payload was placed on the External Payload Facility SDX site on the European "Columbus" module via Dextre.

For this mission, SpaceX has not installed the landing legs on the Falcon rocket.

The AXM version for the Falcon-9 v1.1 / Dragon papermodel and the ISS-RapidScat payload was made possible from NASA's photo gallery website.

Enjoy the photos and the model!
