First "Cygnus" - ISS Demonstration Mission

The goal of the mission is to demonstrate the complete Orbital commercial delivery system from the launch of the Cygnus advanced cargo logistics spacecraft aboard Antares and the rendezvous of Cygnus with the International Space Station (ISS), through unloading of cargo from Cygnus and loading of disposal cargo, to Cygnus departure from the ISS and reentry over the Pacific Ocean.

Antares was successfully launched on Sep 18, 2013 from Pad 0A, Mid Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island, Virgina.

The AXM version for the Antares rocket papermodel was made possible from photos obtained from Spaceflight Now website. The graphic details for the Cygnus cargo vessel were obtained from photos from various sources including Orbital's website and NASASpaceFlight.com forum.

UPDATE: This page has been updated with the addtion of the Cygnus cargo vessel in launch configuration with the Castor 30 Solid Motor engine in 1:100 scale only.
